This project explores using plants as a medium of design in public spaces, focusing on formal beauty, naturalism, and addressing climate change. Participants will go on guided walks, examine different landscapes and apply horticultural techniques to create scaled-down design concepts. Case studies of contemporary garden projects will be used to envision future designs. The project culminates in public outreach through physical exhibits and student-led workshops in the neighbourhood.

Artist Bio: Kush Sethi is an ecological gardener and forager based in Delhi. He promotes sustainable urban horticulture through his company hara|me, which designs landscapes, conducts nature-based tours, and consults on sustainability projects internationally. He has teaching experience in gardening and ecology.

Faculty Bio: Balakrishnan L is a VFX artist and game designer with 10 years of teaching experience in India, promoting VFX, 3D animation and game design courses. He also conducts workshops, seminars and participates in game hackathons.
