The General Post Office of Yelahanka (YELLA-GPO) is committed to providing a unique and enjoyable experience for the residents of Yelahanka. It offers an array of services, including bespoke postcards, puzzles, crosswords, connect-the-dot worksheets, and a pop-up postal service that creates meaningful communication exchanges. YELLA-GPO hopes to provide an alternative to digital communication and faster consumption of content by offering a slower and more deliberate form of communication. Through creative and playful activities, YELLA-GPO seeks to foster meaningful dialogue among the residents of Yelahanka/SFS 208. YELLA-GPO also provides a pop-up postal service to enable the exchange of postcards and other interactions. In this way, YELLA-GPO hopes to bring joy and connection to the residents of Yelahanka.
Artist Bio: Vaibhav Bhawsar is a designer and technologist. An alumnus of Srishti, he currently resides in Yelahanka. His work is driven by a passion to explore and create powerful ways to understand and interact with the world through computational media, interactive technologies, and data. He often uses location-based media, technologies, maps, and data visualizations in his projects.
