Ecological art is a contemporary form of environmental art that addresses local and global environmental concerns in all its complexities & glories. Our aim is to create works of art that respond to the effects of the climate crisis, sustainability, concrete development & classism. The project will manifest in the form of a museum with a satirical take.

Artist Bio: Himanshi is a visual artist and mixed media designer who focuses on environmental impact projects. She enjoys curating exhibitions and creating art related to adventure sports. She has experience with independent projects around the world, particularly interested in the intersection between science and art.

Faculty Bio: Asmita Sarkar is a visual artist, researcher and educator who teaches contemporary painting, drawing, and art research at Srishti Institute. She has exhibited work in the UK and India, and published academic articles.

Maithreyi Karnoor is a fiction, poetry and translation writer, also experienced in copywriting, storyboarding and creative practice. She practises bookmaking, visual communication, and contextual projects at Srishti Institute.
