By discovering objects from the past, archaeologists are a lot like time-travellers: they travel back into time and bring back artefacts for us to imagine what life was like back then. What if, instead of going back in time, what if archaeologists could travel into the future and collect artefacts from there? What if they brought back people’s favourite objects or their life-critical possessions? Looking at these artefacts, would we want to live in such a future? Is there anything we can do today to lead ourselves to the most desirable future possible?

Artist Bio: Shobhan is a designer and artist with over ten years of experience in making technology multi-modal, humane and emotionally relatable. He has worked with international firms and taught at several institutes and holds degrees from IIT Guwahati and the Royal College of Art.

Faculty Bio: Hanoch is a visual artist with degrees from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat and National Institute of Design. He has worked as animator, creative producer and currently practising animation storytelling, film language and editing at Srishti Institute.
