The workshop consists of several individual and group projects that culminate in a group public art initiative. Throughout the duration of the workshop, the participants explore how arts, history, natural and cultural heritage, geography, psychology, meditation, self-reflection, mysticism, observation skills, and the roots of creativity all blend to form a psychogeography for creative practitioners in all media. These explorations aim for the psychogeography’s activist roots to emerge and take on vibrant and constructive forms with a range of focuses, including public art, street animals, greenery, ekistics, architecture, and human well-being. Using Combinatory Play techniques, the project aims to inspire participants to enhance their imaginative abilities, sharpen their observational powers, and develop their skills in creative ideation and production.

Artist Bio: Carl Adam Lindquist is an artist, historian, writer and traveler. He began his career in public art administration at the University of Iowa. He later coordinated international educational initiatives at Arkansas State University. He has an interest in international education and long-standing desire to reside in India and teach in the arts and humanities.
